New Year’s Letter

Dear friends,

This past year brought unique challenges and unexpected opportunities. We’ve become experts in Zoom, masking, COVID testing, and finding joy in the small ways we connect with one another. We reflected upon the hard lessons in resilience we learned and mourned those taken by the pandemic. At the same time, we remain grateful for being able to do the fulfilling work of making our communities more resilient to the impacts of climate change. We’ve become even more focused on our mission and seen monumental change on a state, local, and federal level.

2021 taught us the importance of celebrating incremental change and small wins. And while we did see some big changes in resilience, we also saw countless small actions that are becoming the norm in society.

So, as we head into 2022, we consider the importance of both big and small actions. While there is so much left to do, we know that a lot of little actions can make a big difference. Together, we can continue to make our communities more resilient.

Here’s to 2022 and making a big difference!
