Angela Esber
Senior Policy & Outreach Associate
Angela is a Policy and Outreach Associate for Brizaga, where she is responsible for leading stakeholder communications, developing adaptation and policy recommendations for clients, and planning outreach events such as public meetings and webinars.
Angela recently received her Professional Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy and Management from Florida International University (FIU). Her degree program provided her with experience in environmental research management, environmental policy analysis, geographic information systems (GIS), and life-cycle assessments, which she is excited to bring to Brizaga. Combining her most recent studies and previous work as a social worker, Angela is deeply connected to issues in environmental justice and climate migration, and has a strong focus on understanding how existing and future policies can enhance resilience and sustainability, specifically considering the impact on frontline communities.
